At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, our obstetrics and gynecology experts focus on caring for you throughout your life, beginning with a woman’s first Pap test to childbirth and beyond menopause. We provide the most comprehensive women’s health care in Columbus, both at our main hospital and at convenient locations around the city.

Our comprehensive care includes:

 

Pregnancy and childbirth – We provide care for women with both routine pregnancies and complicated pregnancies, with genetic counseling, preconception counseling, labor and delivery. We provide general obstetrics care throughout your pregnancy. When it’s time for your baby’s arrival, Ohio State’s Maternity Center is ready to meet your labor and delivery needs in a family-centered environment.

 

High-risk pregnancy (maternal fetal medicine) – This program provides diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care of expectant mothers and their unborn babies, who may be at high risk for special health problems. We offer specialized programs including Diabetes in Pregnancy, Fetal Treatment, Prematurity Birth and Substance Abuse and Prevention.

 

NICU – Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cares for babies with special circumstances, such as multiples or those who are pre-term.

 

Gynecology – Our services range from routine annual exams to contraception and menopause care. We offer general gynecology care, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, gynecologic cancer and reproductive endocrinology and infertility services.
