Biography:


Raymond Magorien, MD, FACC, is the director of the Level I Cardiac & Vascular Emergency Program, director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training Program and an associate professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Magorien was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009.

Dr. Magorien earned his medical degree in internal medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Magorien also completed his residency and a fellowship in cardiology at Ohio State’s College of Medicine.

Dr. Magorien has been published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has authored and co-authored several book chapters on various cardiology topics. He received both The Ohio State College of Medicine TOP TEN Faculty Award and the Faculty Teaching Award for interventional cardiology in 2009.

His research interests focuses on interventional cardiology and thrombolytic therapy.
