Elizabeth Kennard MD

Beth Kennard, MD, is the director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Kennard and earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. After an Ob/Gyn residency at Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center, she completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility under the tutelage of Moon Kim, MD, at Ohio State University. Following her fellowship, Dr. Kennard joined the faculty at Ohio State and became division director in 1997.
Dr. Kennard has co-edited one textbook, and written several book chapters. She has also co-authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of several professional organizations and is a past president of the Columbus Ob/Gyn Society.
Dr. Kennard received the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology Excellence in Teaching Award shortly after joining the faculty at Ohio State and has been active in teaching both medical students and residents. She was heavily involved in development and implementation of the Problem-Based Learning Pathway in Ohio State’s College of Medicine and the Nurse Practitioner curriculum in Ohio State’s College of Nursing.
Dr. Kennard is a trustee of Perinatal Resources, Inc. a non-profit CME organization founded by Fred Zuspan, MD. This organization produces Ob/Gyn review courses. Funds from Perinatal Resource activities are used in educational grants. Dr. Kennard coordinates the Columbus Review Course, which is the larger of the two review courses. She also serves on the CME committee which is involved in CME accreditation.
Currently, Dr. Kennard is a partner in Ohio Reproductive Medicine which is the largest provider of reproductive endocrinology and infertility services in central Ohio.
