Michelle A. Miller, MD, FAAPMR, is director of the Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation, affiliate physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program director, and an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
She serves as the section chief of pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation and the medical director of the Inpatient rehabilitation unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is the co-chair for the pressure injury prevention collaborative at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She has been recognized on the national Best Doctors Inc.’s “Best Doctors in America” list for the past six years.
Dr. Miller earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. She completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship in traumatic brain injury also at the Medical College of Virginia. She then completed a second fellowship in pediatric rehabilitation medicine at the Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Del.
Dr. Miller’s research interests include the treatment and management of cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and spasticity. She has received a private grant to support her research in cerebral palsy. She has authored multiple abstracts and book chapters as well as been the invited presenter on a variety of topics in pediatric rehabilitation medicine. She received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2011.
