Michael P. Davis, MD, is medical director for The Heart Partnership program between The Ohio State University Medical Center and Memorial Hospital of Union County. A cardiologist at the OSU Heart Center in Marysville, Dr. Davis is assistant professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Dr. Davis earned his medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in general and invasive cardiology at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Dr. Davis specializes in general cardiology, vascular and interventional cardiology care. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and vascular medicine. Dr. Davis has expertise in noninvasive vascular study interpretation and has earned his Registered Physicians Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification.
Dr. Davis has authored original peer reviewed journal articles on subjects in vascular medicine and noninvasive imaging. Additionally, he has co-authored textbook chapters in the field of vascular disease. Dr. Davis has participated in numerous clinical trials in interventional cardiology and pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Davis serves as ad hoc editor for major medical journals and is a member of many professional organizations.
