Molly Sachdev, MD, MPH, is an electrophysiologist and assistant professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center within the Division of Cardiology.
Dr. Sachdev earned her medical degree from Duke University Medical Center where she also completed her internal medicine residency, and served as an assistant chief resident. She then trained in both general cardiology and electrophysiology at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. She received her master’s in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Sachdev has worked at the Institute of Medicine under the former assistant surgeon general. She has numerous publications in leading medical journals including Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and textbooks such as Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine. Some of her work has been featured by medical editors as “most likely to have an impact that year” and “most downloaded. “ She is a strong proponent of patient education and to this end has spearheaded patient education campaigns including lecture series and Internet pieces.
Dr. Sachdev is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology, and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society.
