Ralph Augostini, MD, FACC, is co-director of the electrophysiology training program and co-director of the ambulatory device clinic. As a cardiologist at The Ohio State University Medical Center, he specializes in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Augostini was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009.
An assistant professor of clinical medicine at Ohio State’s Medical Center, Dr. Augostini earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Augostini’s clinical and research interests include electrophysiology, pacing and ablation. Dr. Augostini is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of several professional organizations, including the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.
