Biography:


Curt Daniels, MD, is the director of the Adolescent and Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program and the Pulmonary Hypertension Program and an associate professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Daniels was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009.

In addition to teaching at Ohio State, Dr. Daniels is also an associate professor in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology at The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Daniels earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University and completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics and fellowship in adult cardiology and pediatric cardiology at Ohio State and Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Dr. Daniels specializes in adult congenital heart disease, connective tissue disorder, adolescent and young adult cardiology and pulmonary hypertension. His research focuses on congenital heart disease, in particular coarctation of the aorta. Dr. Daniels has also received several grants in the area of new medical therapeutics for pulmonary hypertension.

Dr. Daniels is frequently published, and is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Society for Adult Congenital Cardiac Disease.
