For the General Public
Talbot's community education programs take several forms, including lecture series and presentations and open-group counseling for family members and significant others of those suffering from addiction. Learn more about our Family Programming.

Talbot provides space for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Alanon and other 12-step program meetings. Email Talbot Hall for a schedule of those meetings.
For Healthcare Professionals
Talbot strives to expand knowledge of the causes, treatment and prevention of chemical dependency through research, and offers supervised clinical experiences to medical students, residents and other behavioral healthcare specialists.

Addiction Studies Institute
The Addiction Studies Institute is a national conference on addiction and treatment featuring nationally known speakers and top experts in the field. The 23rd annual Addiction Studies Institute will be held July 31 to August 2, 2013. Information can be found at addictionstudiesinstitute.com
Invitation to Breakfast/Education 2012-13
A Breakfast Education Series for healthcare practitioners is held each month from November to May. This is a series of free lectures by Talbot staff and community experts. Continuing education is available from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board and the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Upcoming programs include:
