Classes held in the warm water therapeutic pool at Ohio State's Center for Wellness and Prevention (CWP) are designed to help reduce pain and increase functionality for individuals with musculoskeletal problems, obesity and other physical problems.
Many individuals attend warm water classes to sustain results after they finish physical therapy. Classes are held in a large warm water pool with the temperature ranging from 90 - 92.8 degrees. The depth of the pool
ranges from 3.5 feet to 5 feet. To access the pool there
are wide stair entrances with handrails.
You must be able to enter and exit the pool on your own, as we do not provide one-on-one instruction or assistance.
