Brain Tumors

There are several types of brain tumors. Some are very benign and, in some instances, only require occasional follow-up with scans. Others are very malignant and may require aggressive and extensive treatment or, in some cases, may be best treated with palliative and comfortable care to ensure quality of life.

At Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, treatment is delivered within the Dardinger Neuro-Oncology Center by a multidisciplinary team of physicians.  A weekly multidisciplinary conference is held that allows all of the brain tumor physicians to review patients’ treatments and progress.
