At Ohio State's James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, treatment is delivered within the Dardinger Neuro-Oncology Center by a multidisciplinary team of physicians. The treatment can be observation, surgery or sometimes radiation. Chemotherapy is usually not used.
If surgery is the preferred option, then your neurosurgeon may employ nerve monitoring during the procedure to help minimize damage to the nerve during tumor resection.
