Ohio State's Comprehensive Transplant Center, central Ohio’s only adult transplant center, is a national leader both in success rates and in the number of transplants performed. OSU Medical Center's one-year survival rate is 96.11 percent, compared to the national average one-year survival rate of 96.60 percent.

A great resource for statistics related to solid organ transplantation – kidney, liver, pancreas, intestine, heart and lung – is the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) national database. SRTR provides data about everything from survival statistics to waiting list candidates.
