The staff of Ohio State's Comprehensive Wound Center (CWC) is committed to identifying the cause of your non-healing wound and developing a treatment plan that is specifically personalized for you.

Because Ohio State's Comprehensive Wound Center is a national leader in wound research, we can offer you the most advanced treatment options available including Skin Substitutes, Negative Pressure Therapy, Hyperbaric and Topical Oxygen and Growth Factor Therapy to name a few.

Wound healing services are provided at two locations: Ohio State University Hospital East and the OSU Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza.  Each location offers you:

  • Free and convenient parking
  • Private exam rooms
  • State-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen chambers used in oxygen therapy
  • Access to many resources and specialized programs and services available through The Ohio State University Medical Center

  • Ohio State's Comprehensive Wound Center physicians and staff have a combined 150 years of wound care and hyperbaric therapy experience.
  • As a Level I Trauma Center, we provide emergency hyperbaric medicine treatment for traumatic injuries, life-threatening infections and carbon monoxide poisoning.
  • OSU Medical Center is home to the only adult burn center in central Ohio specializing in the treatment of burns.
  • OSU Medical Center offers a specialized diabetes education and research center dedicated to preventing and managing the disease and to one day finding a cure.
