Ohio State's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation conducts rehabilitation research on topics that are highly relevant to the lives of the patients we serve. We constantly strive to improve our rehabilitation methods by developing and evaluating new assessment tools and interventions.
Feedback from patients and the Ohio Valley Center Advisory Council is used to direct our research efforts to areas considered to be most important by our consumers. To this end, the department has developed lines of research targeting traumatic brain injury, motion disorders and osteoporosis.
