The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2005 identified six “Signature Programs” – Cancer, Critical Care, Heart, Imaging, Neurosciences and Transplantation – to drive future success in research, education and patient care. These programs are characterized
by demonstrated leadership, national reputation and potential for growth that can help Ohio State’s Medical Center become a top-tier academic institution.
The Medical Center also identified Behavioral Medicine, Biomedical Informatics and Genetics as “Key Research Programs” that are instrumental to continued success of the Signature
Programs in particular and to the Medical Center overall. This section of our Web site highlights 2007 accomplishments in each of the Signature and Key programs.
