The comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services available through the OSU Heart Center include same-day catheterization and outpatient catheterization; complete hemodynamic and angiographic studies; interventional studies including PTCA, thrombolytic therapy, intra-aortic balloon assist devices and valvuloplasty; invasive electrophysiologic studies; endomyocardial tissue biopsy analysis; radionuclide exercise studies; Sector/Doppler scan, transesophageal and stress echocardiography; ambulatory monitoring, including transtelephonic patient-activated devices; 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring; and a full spectrum of pacemaker services.
