The Department of Surgery is conducting a study to determine if Vitamin E is an effective way to treat surgical scars. To be eligible to participate, you must meet the following criteria:
-Non-smoker
-No current use of medications that alter liver metabolism such as
Phenobarbital or HmG co-A inhibitors
-Non-pregnant or non-breastfeeding
-No current use of deitary supplements containing Vitamin E
-Not actively abusing drugs or alcohol
