Cooking in season

Produce tastes the best and is the most affordable when it is in season, but it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what to do with the variety of fresh vegetables and fruits from the farmer’s market, community garden, food pantry, or your own backyard. Join us in the Demonstration Kitchen for healthy recipe ideas featuring seasonal produce.

Meatless Mondays

Join us in the Demonstration Kitchen on the last Monday of every month to learn about the health benefits of eating a plant-based diet. We’ll share recipes and grocery shopping tips & tricks to incorporate more plant-based foods in your diet.

Women’s Health Week in the Demonstration Kitchen

The leading cause of death for women is heart disease (CDC, 2022), and the greatest risk factor for heart disease is high blood pressure. Eating a healthy diet can help reduce your risk of developing chronic, diet-related diseases. Join us for cooking demonstrations during Women’s Health Week designed to help you adopt and maintain a heart-healthy diet.
