Consultation and support services to assist those who are thinking about stopping or ready to stop smoking. We provide both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies to help patients achieve and maintain a tobacco-free lifestyle.

The program, which is covered by most insurance plans, provides each participant with:

  • Initial individual assessments with a pharmacist that include behavioral counseling and pharmacologic treatment as well as assessments for blood pressure, heart rate, weight, medications, past health history and immunizations
  • Follow-up visits whenever a patient wishes to review progress, strategies and medications, and make adjustments as needed

The program is pharmacist-run and physician-supervised, providing consultation and support services. Each pharmacist has specialized training in smoking cessation.

Patients enrolled in the program have been shown to have improved outcomes in their care and have benefited from our pharmacists’ clinical interventions.
