The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is dedicated to gaining new knowledge about disease so we can improve the quality of life of our patients. We have a growing program in clinical research and we are actively recruiting people to participate in our clinical trials. Pulmonary Clinical Trials Office (PCTO) typically has multiple open Interventional and Observational clinical trials at any one time. Trials include Industry Sponsored and NIH studies. We serve many disease areas of focus that include:

  • chronic bronchitis
  • respiratory failure

  • alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency
