Experience and Interests

Kathryn Krumpak, M.A., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist employed at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital. Kathryn completed her Master’s coursework in Speech-Language Pathology at The George Washington University in 2014. While living in Washington, DC, Kathryn worked in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and subacute rehabilitation settings. Prior to relocating to Ohio, she worked at Medstar National Rehabilitation Hospital, an acute rehabilitation hospital located in the heart of the District of Columbia, where she specialized in evaluation and treatment of patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac-related medical issues, and other acquired neurologic conditions. Kathryn is certified in LSVT Loud. Clinically, she enjoys working with patients suffering from aphasia, cognitive-communication difficulties, voice disorders, and changes in swallow function. Kathryn also enjoys mentoring students, interdepartmental education and lectures, practicing her Spanish language skills, and engagement with support organizations for neurologic disorders within the community.
